Mike Founded Wildcat Helicopters and has led the team to become arguably the premier helicopter company in Canada. Mike’s training as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, managing, directing and working in many of the worlds remotest regions has allowed him to develop a “can do” skill set that has become Wildcat Helicopters signature. With a maintenance background, and supported by a quality team Wildcat is able to operate safely and efficiently with a minimum level of infrastructure and support.
Ian Wilson has over 23 years of flying and managing aerial operations around the world. With an emphasis on safety and delivering the customers brief he is known for the quality of the product his team supplies and providing cost effective solutions wherever they are required. He has managed operations in New Zealand, Australia, Angola and Canada and is responsible for daily logistical and flight operations.
With over 17 years of helicopter flying experience Dave leads an experienced team of professional pilots, he has developed a premier training program for winch operations based on his experience flying with multiple agencies throughout Canada and Australia. With a focus on providing the safest and most efficient pilots to provide flight operations, he forms an integral part of our flying roster.
Our rescue technicians have a vast array of skills including avalanche forecasting, avalanche blasting, swift water rescue, high angle rescue, vehicle extraction, and ice rescue. Our rescue crew has gained experience in the mountains of North America and Europe. The crew are also highly capable of operating in the challenging offshore environment. Regardless of the rescue requirements, our rescue crew possesses the experience and certifications to perform each and every rescue safely and efficiently.
BC Air Rescue’s medical team is composed of Primary Care Paramedics, Advanced Care Paramedics, and physicians. The team members have gathered decades of experience around the world including Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. BC Air Rescue are experts and matching the required medical personnel to the task at hand.
